In 1997 José Paulo Antunes Caetano and Jorge Antunes Caetano founded the enterprise J. P. Caetano, S. A.

This firm started the activity in tires and occasion parts marketing to industrial machinery, in the actual headquarters in Meirinhas. Forming a several enterprises group, with the most various activities, nowadays, J. P. Caetano, S.A. exercises the activity importing, exporting and marketing machines and equipments new and used to ground movement, civil construction and agricultural machinery, as well as occasion parts to industrial machinery.

Nowadays, our park is one of the biggest in the country, with about sixty thousand cubic metres (six thousand cubic metres covered area).

In 2002, J. P. Caetano, S.A. begun, quarterly, big auctions, where are sell by auction used machinery and equipments. To this intent, our enterprise has created a suitable space, with an amphitheatre, which has the capacity to 800 people, bar and restaurant supporting, where the equipments are sell by auction, with parade machines, supported by video pictures.

This pioneer component in the country (namely in this sector), in conjugation with marketing campaigns, directed to national and international markets, bring at the enterprise around 2000 visitors and potentials buyers out of every auction. These events turn out to be a success and a factor of marketing and growth.

The Group acts in real estate brokers, civil construction, tourism and rent-a-car.

The enterprise benefits their principals’ shareholders know-how, has a constant growth and is leader in the national market of machines and used equipments commerce and their exports are being more and more meaning in enterprise businesses and success.
